MARIO'S STILL DANCING

It was actually kinda boring and the cheesiness is getting to me.

If you happen to go to the club this weekend and bump up against T.I., don't worry, he hasn't snuck out or anything...According to his attorney:

"He is in what we call a home detention program which means that he has a curfew," Steve Sadow clarified.

Sadow explained that when he's not working, T.I.'s curfew is from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m and when he is working it's 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.

"Between the hours that the curfew doesn't apply, he is free to go and do anything, basically," Sadow revealed. "But he has a full time monitor with him and he has to get permission to go out of town and permission is given for work or community service."

The self proclaimed "King of the South" has already spent about five months on house arrest since the end of October, when he was released from jail on $3 million bond.

So in the meantime, rumor has it that the snitch...I mean rapper will be announcing an upcoming promotional outreach tour, aimed at young people. This tour will be unique, you know the kind that speaks to large, arena-sized crowds, using various DJ-backed rhyming messages to penetrate the minds of young people. That's really touching.

Be on the lookout for more info on the upcoming speaking engagements. They will be open to the public - those willing to get special passes from ticketmaster.

TMZ has learned that singer Sean Levert was physically restrained by jail guards right before he died.

Staff at the Cuyahoga County Jail tell us Levert was "out of control" and "hallucinating," forcing them to place him in a restraining chair, because he was a danger to himself. The jail's warden Kevin McDonough says Levert was cooperative and "went willingly" when jail staff bound his wrists and shackled his feet.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner tells us Levert's body showed no signs of physical trauma, nor do they suspect foul play. They are currently awaiting toxicology results -- those will take four to six weeks to come back.

Sean reportedly suffered from high blood pressure. In a statement issued yesterday, the Levert family says "There is no song that can capture the loss that we have in our hearts."

Story developing ...

The Harlem New York native is no stranger to the limelight, having appeared on her own episode of the hit MTV series Super Sweet 16 with her 80's themed b-day bash.

Teyana has also received endorsements from Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Teyana pop locked her way into Hov's "Blue Magic" video and taught B the "Chicken Noodle Soup" - a dance she helped coin - for Beyoncé's 2007 MTV Video Music Award performance.

On the topic of being backed by both Hov and B, Teyana said, "That kind of love coming from Jay and Beyonce, was crazy. When he said, 'Yo, you're a superstar. I'll see you at the top,' I was humbled, like wow!"

"The first time I stepped into a booth I was seven," Teyana said in a press release. "I started singing on the train to make money, just hustling. No matter how much money I get, I still gotta grind. I still gotta work hard to get where I want to be."

Her debut album, From A Planet Called Harlem, is a mixture of R&B, pop rock and rap and features production from Jazze Pha, Pharrell, Mad Scientist, Frost, Shondre and Hit Boy. "From the songs to the production -- the whole direction of the album is insane," said Teyana. "It's a story about having fun."

From A Planet Called Harlem drops in May via Star Trak/Interscope.

JANET CALLS 'DO OVER'

MS. JACKSON is unhappy with her video for Rock With U.

So she's gonna do it over! Why? Because she can.

Her label, Island Def Jam has given director, Saam Farahmand, 24 hours to pitch new ideas for a 'make good' video and instructed to have a shoot ready for this coming weekend.

It is believed that this is the primary reason why the original Rock With U video has been pulled from music channels BET, VH1 and MTV.

Here's the original clip...

In an effort to continue to think outside the box, KANYE WEST recently launched a new business: KanYe Travel Ventures.

The online service, www.kanyetravel.com, is a fully-loaded website for those looking to book flights, hotels and other travel accomodations.

A new release says the eventually "Kanye fans will be able to customize their trips on the KTV site...including purchasing Kanye concert tickets and other performace-related merchandise and events, at the same time as they are booking their travel reservations."

BRILLANT. Let this be a lesson to all you young bucks: There's no rest to be had, when there's money to be made.

In an attempt to address the persistant rumors that she and Chris Brown are an item, RIHANNA told MTV news recently, "We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister."

I'd like to take a moment to speak to my little brother, Joey:

Please don't take this personally, but AT NO POINT will I ever ask you to hold me tenderly.

That's all.
