WHITNEY HOUSTON is back ya'll. I've waited a looooong time to be able to say that. A new teaser leaked this weekend. "Like I Never Left" was co-written and produced by AKON. Really listening to this I was both relieved and excited. We've all seen Whit at her worst and it was a little over a year ago that girlfriend went back to work under the tutilage of her mentor Clive Davis. But no one knew the how successful this effort would be.
But here it is, a hearftfelt, age appropriate and sincere single. Though I don't know that we needed Akon's vocals on the track, Whitney's message is clear: She wants you to love her like she never left.

The diva debacle performed for 30 minutes -- for a reported $3mil -- to a sold out crowd at the Plymouth Jazz Festival Sunday. According to BV Buzz, her voice was beaucoup raspy by the third song. She was also unable hit the big finish in "I Will Always Love You."
In addition to her vocal malfunction, she repeatedly shouted to the crowd, "I Love you, Trinidad!" She was actually in Tobago.

"She was practically carried in by her staff, and her people snapped their fingers, saying, 'Whitney needs a waitress!' " says our spy. "She couldn't focus while Ray J sang the national anthem. But when he got back to her they were lovey-dovey all night." Catherine Zeta-Jones sat nearby, wrapped in a Welsh flag for Calzaghe, who won by split decision.

Bobby Brown is spitting mad at Whitney Houston because she won't sign the release to put "Being Bobby Brown" on DVD.
Bobby says, "Whitney blames the show for ruining her career and she won’t sign off on the contract to release the DVD. There’s a lot of money to be made, but, because she won’t cooperate, we’ll never see it. I have a serious problem with that because it affects my income.’"

As the 44-year-old diva with the legendary voice struggles to make her comeback, both of her exes have written scandalous things about her.
Her ex-husband Bobby Brown has come out with a tell-all autobiography, "Being Bobby Brown: The Whole Truth and Nothin' But," in which he details his and Houston's drug use and addresses the rumors of her bi-sexuality.
And now Ray J, 27, has written a song dissing Brown and detailing his sex life with Houston.
In Ray J's "Boyfriend," off his just-released album, "All I Feel," which debuts this week, Ray J croons, "Is that your wife, is that your shorty, well I'm her boyfriend . . . I think the problem is you don't beat it right . . . Making love is cool, just pull her hair sometimes."
RUMOR has it, the desperate for attention Ray J, decided to "call out" Bobby after he heard Brown's mumerous disses after word broke of their may-december relationship.

Whitney's rep tells TMZ, "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels the need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight."Let me translate that for you:

In his upcoming autobiography, Bobby Brown blows the lid on his wildly dysfunctional marriage to the troubled, Grammy-winning diva, suggesting that she drove him into a nightmare of drug addiction.
"I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice," Brown writes in "Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But," out next month. "At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine."
As far as his 15-year marriage to Houston is concerned, it "was doomed from the very beginning. Within the first year we separated, with several more to follow," Brown writes. "I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children."
Whitney, he alleges, had been under "a lot of pressure. The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn't go too well with her image . . . In Whitney's situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not. In the short, I think I got caught up in the politics and ended up marrying one of the biggest stars in the world."
But Brown notes that he was no saint in their relationship, confessing in his book, "I am guilty of sleeping with other women . . . Women are always throwing themselves at you. I'm only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes . . . I let the testosterone take over."
One of his most public indiscretions was an affair with former exotic dancer Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. "Yes, I've slept with her," he confesses. "Yes, I've spent several nights at her house. But she was only good for what her nickname stood for."
Reps for Houston, who divorced Brown a year ago, did not return our call for comment.
