Word is that the fly MICHELLE WILLIAMS' highly anticipated album Unexpected, has been pushed back. Her third disc, and first secular effort (she released two successful gospel CD's) has been moved off of the original August 12th date to a slightly more competitive October 7th.
While some may speculate that the album just isn't ready, the obvious answer is that the disc, which contains some great dance material, including her #1 "We Break The Dawn," hasn't been properly promoted.
So while we're a little disappointed by the wait, we're glad our girls getting the extra time so the label can get on it.

SIGH...MICHELLE WILLIAMS attended ASCAP's Rhythm & Soul Awards last night in LA. Errything bout this look is just limp. From the hair to the hells and I'm not even gonna start on that chifon prom dress she's rockin'. Come on baby girl, step yo game up! We got an album to promote.
NE-YO looked dapper, representing for the gentlemen in a very modern play on old Hollywood.

Damn, when's the last time you saw this? All six, yes including Bobby's ole crazy ass, members of NEW EDITION were awarded a lifetime achievement award. CONGRATS. But I just KNOW some drama went down backstage.

SHAWTY LO came through lookin' a down-south mess.
MARSHA AMBROSIUS (formerly of Floetry) was there in a very suspect fit. Now I love my girl but damn the shorts ain't too small and the bouse is too big.
MC LYTE looked so very fly! I love love love the shoes!
TICHINA ARNOLD made the first of several stops throughout the night. Damn she got that boobie up kinda high don't she?
MUSIQ and AKON were both also honored.

A similarly dressed RAY LAVENDAR opened for the pop gangsta.

Last night MICHELLE WILLIAMS (and DC Alum) stepped out at Xchange in NYC to celebrate FUSE music stations new ad campaign. Peep the new blonde highlights, the nuetral make-up and the fun and flirty very "summer-esque" frock: it's a complete 180 from what promised to be a VERY edgy punk look for her upcoming Unexpected album.
While I was super-excited about her new direction, I have to admit I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new look. The old on was a cool concept but she never seemed to own it enough to make it believable. Peep the old look below.

USHER'S MEDIA DAY & WARNING TO YA'LL: STOP TALKIN' BOUT HIS WIFE DAMMIT!

As I'm sure ERRBODY knows by now, USHER'S long-awaited album dropped yesterday (slightly ahead of schedule). And I'm sure you noticed him EVERYWHERE! He kicked off his media blitz yesterday with a morning visit to Naval ship USS Kearsage in NYC, where he visited with sailors and signed copies of the CD for them.
Then it was off to TRL where he stayed for quite a while and took questions from a bunch of screaming teenagers. 
So apparently Daddy Ush pulled a Kanye and went the phudge of randomly and started snappin' bout folks (side eye) talkin' bout his wifey!
Then last night he donned some fit from 1999 and then hosted a private album release party.
But look who escaped from Matt Knowles dungeon! It's MICHELLE WILLIAMS wearing a fly! jewel toned purple dress! Loves it! If you haven't heard it already check out her new music from her forthcoming album entitled Unexpected!
BUSTA BUS was also there, looking kinda haggered.
