Well you know, there is that old adage, "Show me a cop with the freestlying capabilities of mentally handicapped Icelandic homeless man and I'll show you a cop that should be fired." No? Never heard that one?
Well anyway, SHAQUILLE O'NEAL has been asked to turn over his badge and gun and was relieved of his position as a Deputy Sheriff following the release of his profane laced freestyle attack against former teammate and general pain in the ass, Kobe Bryant.
Last January, Maricopa County Sheriff (that's in Arizona) Joe Arpaio made the Phoenix Suns star a special deputy, and then promoted him to a ceremonious colonel earlier this month. "I want his two badges back," Arpaio told the AP, "Because if any one of my deputies did something like this, they're fired. I don't condone this type of racial conduct." The sheriff then went on to offer Sahq's freestyle as evidence as to why they celebrate MLK day...Ok I'm kidding bout that one.
My guess is that the decision to let go of the worlds largest, slowest, most recognizable officer with the worst knees, had less to do with the departments strict conduct guidelines and more so because the ish was just terrible.
