Reprising their Sister Slam Show in the Wimbledon final after a five-year hiatus, Venus and Serena smacked big serves, hit hard strokes from all angles and chased down seemingly unreachable balls, like no one else does. Overcoming an early deficit, Venus beat Serena 7-5, 6-4 Saturday for her second consecutive title at the All England Club and seventh major championship overall. "I'm definitely more in tune with my sister's feelings because one of us has to win and one of us has to lose," the No. 7-seeded Venus said. "You could never detract from winning a Wimbledon, so of course it doesn't detract from that. But I'm definitely thinking about how my sister's feeling." No. 6 Serena, meanwhile, was sullen as could be afterward, as though she had just finished losing to a stranger. Which, it turns out, was the way she tried to view Venus. That the champion's trophy stayed in the family did not ease the pain of defeat."It's definitely not any easier," Serena said. "I just look at her as another opponent at the end of the day." Said their mother and coach, Oracene Price: "Well, you know, she's going to have to learn how to suck things up. Say, 'OK, I'm not going to win everything.'"

Kelly goes against her gut and lets him help her -- and in doing so, she lets a rapist into her home. "We get a signal prior to violence," Gavin says. "There are preincident indicators. Things that happen before violence occurs." Gavin says that unlike any other living creature, humans will sense danger yet still walk right into it. Gavin says that "eerie feeling" is exactly what he wants women to pay attention to. "We're trying to analyze the warning signs," he says. "And what I really want to teach today and forever is the feeling is the warning sign. All the other stuff is our explanation for the feeling. Why it was this, why it was that. The feeling itself is the warning sign."

ANGELA BASSETT is scrubbing in to what will be the final (thank GOD!) season of the NBC drama ER.

Bassett's character will make her entrance in episode two, returning to Chicago after working in Indonesia as a tsunami relief worker.

The 49-year-old actress recently finished filming Notorious, a biopic about late rap star Notorious BIG.

Angela Bassett, an Oscar nominee for 1993's What's Love Got to Do with It, received the 2,358th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday. "Angela and I have worked together five times," Laurence Fishburne, the Ike to Bassett's Tina Turner in the film, said at her induction ceremony. "Each time it gets better and better." Forest Whitaker and Rick Fox, her costar in the upcoming Meet the Browns, were also among the celebs present.

"Do you ever have one of those days? I woke up and the sun wasn't really shining but then it burst through the clouds and it was glorious. Hallelujah!" Bassett, 49, exclaimed to the crowd.

Today my cup runneth over!" Bassett said. "I am crying now, I cried yesterday and the day before. ... This day is so, so special to me."

This is not only well deserved, but also LONG overdue. She is an absolute sweetheart. CONGRATS Mama! So VERY fly!

BLACK HOLLYWOOD was out last night for the premiere of TYLER PERRY'S MEET THE BROWNS at LA's Cinerama Dome.

Of course TP was there with the films co-stars Mrs. Angela Bassett and the extra yummy Rick Fox.

OK, I HATE to call out a cutie like LAMAAN RUCKER but sweetie, weren't you JUST sporting that same brown vest last week in ATL for Boris Kodjoe's birthday party? Don't do this again.

After a nationwide search, it looks like Jamal Woolard (also known by his rap name Gravy) has landed the lead in the biopic Notorious, based on the life of rapper Christopher ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ Wallace, who was gunned down in 1997.

The movie also stars Angela Bassett, who will play Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace; Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur; and Derek Luke as Sean “Diddy” Combs. George Tillman Jr. (Soulfood, Men OF Honor) will helm the film, which begins shooting March 24 in New York City.
