I see we've gone with a different ring huh...
NICK CANNON & MARIAH CAREY-CANNON made their first appearance last night as a couple, a MARRIED couple at Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People Gala in NYC. 
Many say the couple were "Glowing and behaved like newlyweds." Also in attendance were LA Reid, Gayle King and the CEO of Time Warner Dick Parsons (which if you EVER get a chance to meet him, please take a moment to chat. He is FASCINATING). And don't hit the brotha up for money.
Mariah also marked this ocassion, by taking her ass back to work...Oh yeah, she IS a singer with a brand spanking new album out.
Which leads me to my next question. Mariah - look I love you. congrats on the wedding. If you like, I love whateva. But sweetheart, can we talk about your look. I mean ERRYTHING I've seen this chick in since the beginning of her recent media storm has SCREAMED 1996. It's like this is all the ish she WANTED to wear to promote Glitter but never got the chance. Please please please, for the love of Nick Cannon, FIRE YOUR STYLIST.
Now, back to the business at hand. TYLER PERRY & KEENEN THOMPSON were also there looking suspect.
And Chris & Maalak Compton-Rock were also in attendance. I really hope her real dress was under that trench.

The 39-year-old Crash veteran, now starring in the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, has landed a record deal with Columbia Records. “The full name [of the project] is Terrence Howard Presents Me and the Band of Kings,” says a label rep, who adds that the group’s as-yet-untitled debut CD “is slated for a fall release.” Maybe it’s not so hard out here for a pimp after all.Monday, March 10, 2008
TERRENCE HOWARD sat down recently for another "interestingly weird" interview, this time with New York Magazine. Among other things, Howard talks about his long-standing plan to leave Hollywood when he turns 40 - two years from now. What's he going to do then?
“Science is still my main focus,” he says, having once studied chemical engineering at Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute. “My music [an “urban country” album due in September] still bears a greater weight on me than acting.” He’d like to finish his degree, “study physics the way I wanted to,” and set up a production company that makes serious black films, turn himself into the anti–Tyler Perry. “There’s some really talented actors out there who will not compromise for the sake of a joke.”

TERRANCE HOWARD made his broadway debut with the opening night of 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.' Alongside co-stars/Broadway legends, Anika Rose, James Earl Jones & EVERYBODIES favorite mother, Phylicia Rashad, Terrance and crew made history as the first all black cast for the award winning play.
The project is being directed by Choreographer/Producer/Actor/Writer/Director Debbie Allen.
