I see we've gone with a different ring huh...
NICK CANNON & MARIAH CAREY-CANNON made their first appearance last night as a couple, a MARRIED couple at Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People Gala in NYC. 
Many say the couple were "Glowing and behaved like newlyweds." Also in attendance were LA Reid, Gayle King and the CEO of Time Warner Dick Parsons (which if you EVER get a chance to meet him, please take a moment to chat. He is FASCINATING). And don't hit the brotha up for money.
Mariah also marked this ocassion, by taking her ass back to work...Oh yeah, she IS a singer with a brand spanking new album out.
Which leads me to my next question. Mariah - look I love you. congrats on the wedding. If you like, I love whateva. But sweetheart, can we talk about your look. I mean ERRYTHING I've seen this chick in since the beginning of her recent media storm has SCREAMED 1996. It's like this is all the ish she WANTED to wear to promote Glitter but never got the chance. Please please please, for the love of Nick Cannon, FIRE YOUR STYLIST.
Now, back to the business at hand. TYLER PERRY & KEENEN THOMPSON were also there looking suspect.

The Perry-labeled comedy-drama Meet the Browns, starring Angela Bassett, was the Easter weekend's biggest hit, theater for theater, grossing $20 million off about 2,000 screens, per estimates compiled Sunday by Exhibitor Relations.
Overall, the film placed second. Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!, playing on nearly twice as many screens, retained the No. 1 spot with a strong second weekend take of $25.1 million.
The just as busy Perry has himself gone five months without a box-office topper. But Perry has been arguably more consistent than Apatow of late.
Of Perry's five feature films, four of the five have opened with at least $20 million. Apatow's last five features as producer have either debuted super big (Superbad, Knocked Up, Talledega Nights) or not so much (Walk Hard, Drillbit Taylor). Either label probably would have done Semi-Pro's bell-bottoms some good.

BLACK HOLLYWOOD was out last night for the premiere of TYLER PERRY'S MEET THE BROWNS at LA's Cinerama Dome. Of course TP was there with the films co-stars Mrs. Angela Bassett and the extra yummy Rick Fox.
OK, I HATE to call out a cutie like LAMAAN RUCKER but sweetie, weren't you JUST sporting that same brown vest last week in ATL for Boris Kodjoe's birthday party? Don't do this again.
