USHER'S media blitz is now in full swing with the release of his ALBUM COVER and now these new promo pics, all via his MySpace page.

Here I Stand is due out May 27th, and word is, Ush is getting his grown man on.

JD, Ush's lontime producer/friend recently told
MTV.com:

Usher's album is more about teaching men [that] at some point, you gotta grow up. And growing up is respecting a woman and having a woman in your life and taking care of your woman. That's his definition of growing up. A lot of other n---as have a different definition. That's his definition of becoming a man, taking care of home.

Dupri also explained last weeks
YouTube video taken after a recording session with Ush, Anthony Hamilton and the newlywed Jay-Z:

"It's a Jay-Z and Usher record produced by me," the mogul said. "It's about their lives right now. They talk about their past relationships and how they are where they are now."

"The Best Thing" will be featured on Usher's May 27 release.

"It's cool," the producer said. "They not really sappy. It's not a sappy song...This song is kinda like that. It's a responsible type of record. When that girl you settled down with, she leaves you. You realize you lost the best thing that ever happened to you."

And looks like Jermaine he made the most out his time with Jigga, recording not only the song with Usher but also a verse for a remix of Mariah's new single 'Bye Bye.'

"The remix for the Mariah record is crazy," Dupri said Friday (April 18). "Young Hov and Mariah crank it up, and myself, JD — a.k.a. Barry Bonds — cleans up."

50 HEADS OUT TO 'MICROWAVE PARK'

You might notice there's something different about Fiddy...Maybe it's the almost 25 lbs. he's shed from his usually 200 lbs muscular physique.

50 told MTV News on Tuesday that he's shedding the bulk to have a more regular physique for a new movie he's about to start filming called "Microwave Park."

He's also grown his hair out into an Afro — well, he grew it out as far as it can go. "It stops growing at a certain point," he laughed about the do, which can still be covered with a fitted baseball cap.

"I leave on May 8," he said about his plans to head to New Orleans for the film's production. "I play a police officer right after Hurricane Katrina. It's me, Val Kilmer and Sharon Stone."
